Gina Wright, Scottish Artist

Gina wright

Gina is a full time, professional artist working in oil, pastels and watercolour to paint landscapes and nature. These paintings reflect her love of the Scottish landscape and capture its fleeting moods. Other inspiration has come from regular trips to Canada and time spent visiting family at their lakeside cottage.

Gina works from a studio overlooking the river Tay with views of the bridges, sky and water (the famous 'Silvery Tay').

As a member of the Dundee Art Society Gina shares her passion with other artists through workshops. Life drawing classes are giving Gina an opportunity to expand her artistic skills.

Gina has exhibited in various group exhibitions and in 2003 she had her first solo exhibition at the Pittenweem Arts Festival. In 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Gina again exhibited at the Arts Festival.

Some of Gina's work in progress and studies will be posted on her Blog.
